Our Agenda at Science Cafe: Earthquake and the Safety of Our City ??️
As Burdur MAKÜ Science Communication Coordination, we continue to bring science to the community with topics right from the heart of life. At this week's stop of our "Science Cafe" events, we are putting one of the most vital issues of our region on the table on the anniversary of the May 12, 1971 Burdur earthquake.
In our program "Burdur Province Building Stock and Earthquake Safety" which will be presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan ULUTAŞ, we will discuss the building condition of our city, earthquake risk, and the precautions we need to take from a scientific perspective.
We invite all our people to this important event to get to know the city we live in better and to raise awareness against earthquakes.
