We participated in YÖK's "Science Cafe - Future Professions Event" Information Meeting.

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 14:00, the meeting held in the YÖK Conference Hall was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan ULUTAŞ, the Science Communication Coordinator representing Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), along with Assistant Coordinators Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda UYSAL and Dr. Özge GÖKÇE.

Access Methodologies for Youth Were Discussed

In the meeting centered around the question, "How will we explain future professions to young people and how will we reach them in this process?" the importance of professional preparation processes that combine theory and practice, dynamic content compatible with digital and green transformation, and modular and verifiable micro-competency systems suitable for the labor market was highlighted.

It was stated in the meeting that the transformation brought by the future is not a threat for young people but a strategic opportunity, and it was noted that science communicators have a significant role in making these opportunities visible.
